I called at 7am for price on non working remotes and to my surprise they were at my house within 2 hrs with a truck loaded with anything that could possibly be wrong with it!! Chris Brown arrived and helped me analyze my opener problems. Chris offered solution options and I chose to replace the opener. I asked Chris when could he come back to replace the opener. Chris advised that he had all the parts required with him for the option I chose. Chris gathered up all the required parts and began work immediately. Chris was the most polite and professional technician I've had occasion to be involved with for many years. Chris was extremely skillful and proficient as he completed the replacement the opener. Chris had skillfully placed every part necessary for the job in the garage and did not have to run back and forth to the truck for something missing / needed. After completion Chris instructed me of the numerous operations of the new keypad with the lockout position. Chris took the time to help me fully understand the operations of all remote opening units. I was particularly impressed that Chris offered options but DID NOT pressure me at all to make a choice. Technicians (Kirby and Gus) were proficient and knowledgeable and did a great job. The price seemed high to me, but as I didn't shop around, I don't have a comparison point. Just under $400 for an hour's work to replace a broken spring, side plates with bearings, and torsion cables. Of course the seller's warranty with Home Warranty of America was garbage and not only did not cover a penny but cost us more due to their higher trade call fee than if we had gone around them. That's no reflection on Precision, though.

My garage door opener that was at least 12 years old died on Friday morning. I called Precision Door Service and they were out to my house before lunch. The technician, Joey, was very knowledgeable, polite and efficient. He answered all my questions and installed my new opener quickly and cleaned up everything when finished. I rated Precision 5 stars for their excellent response from "Let's Chat " on their web site late Wednesday night. It was excellent response Dispatcher called me Thursday morning , he said a technician could be there at 10 PM today. The Technician William Squares arrived on time diagnosed the problem, gave me the options of repair or replacement with all cost. I required authorization from my Home Warranty company if over a certain cost. He and I spoke to the company and received authorization to proceed, The opener was repaired and the broken spring was replaced. Mr Squires was very professional and well mannered. Michael arrived on schedule, presented himself in a personable and professional manner and immediately got to work removing my old, broken garage door. It was very obvious hat he knows the removal and installation process very well. The installation involved reinforcing the supporting structure of the garage as well as removing the old door and installing the new one. At the end of 6 1/2 hours, my old door was out of sight on the truck and my new door was installed and fully operational. Excellent work and a beautiful job. All though the installtion process we were updated on the progress and at all times Michael was the cosummate professional remaining up beat and personable throughout the lengthy installation on a hot day..
