Your technician, Tommy and his partner went above and beyond my expectations. It was obvious that they take pride in their work and are highly professional. They found the problem and after asking for my approval to fix it, they got right on it. They installed a new motor, wall unit, new safety sensors, outdoor key pad, new rollers, lubed the springs as well as every hinge on the door and did everything to perfection and within about 30 minutes. When the repair was completed, I asked the technician several times about the battery backup in April 2019. After the hurricane, I discovered I had no battery backup. The unit mal functioned and today was the service visit. The technician stated 2 reasons for the malfunction: 1. Employee error. 2. Equipment should have had a recall. They have haf numerous calls for the same malfunction. With the power outage, the unit lost its short term memory. Yet, I was still charged a service visit. The technician asked if I wanted battery backup for a $100 cost. I refused because I am not certain if I will do business with Lrecision again. He stated they would send me a PDF file on how to troubleshoot the unit. I am waiting to see if they are going to send it to me or if this is more telling the customer what they want to hear.
